Our team & approach

The trail takes you out.
The table brings you in.

We’re bringing together a Chengdu-based documentary team and experience in bespoke travel and hospitality. Our shared aim is to help visitors explore Sichuan through its landscapes, food and people.

The idea began with a hiking documentary and the journeys it inspired. Trail stands for getting out into the landscape; Table stands for the food, conversation and welcome along the way.

A project taking shape in Chengdu

The team and journeys are currently being developed. This preview introduces the concept; named team profiles and confirmed service details will follow.

Let’s shape your journey
Made around you

How we plan your journey.

01

Start a conversation.

Tell us what you love, how you like to travel and who’s coming along.

02

Find your rhythm.

Explore a proposed itinerary, then refine the activity, pace and comforts.

03

Confirm the details.

Before booking, review the route, accommodation, activity demands, inclusions and total price.

Before you go

Plan with the details in mind.

Can I combine trekking, cycling and local experiences?

Yes—that is the concept. Your proposed journey can focus on one activity or combine trekking, cycling and local experiences. The balance should reflect your interests, available time and fitness.

Do I need to be an experienced trekker or cyclist?

Tell us how often you walk or ride, your typical distance and how you feel about hills and altitude. A proposal should explain daily activity demands, elevation, equipment and support so you can judge whether it suits you.

What does a private journey cost?

There is no confirmed price list yet. A quote will need to account for your group size, season, route, accommodation and activity support, and state clearly what is included and excluded. The example journeys in this preview are not priced offers.

Can I book one of these journeys now?

This is a website concept for a project in development. The example itineraries are for discussion only. The form below creates a downloadable brief on your device; it does not send an enquiry or make a booking.
